Of what I understood of the definition of Internet of Things is that it is object that can be located in the internet, objects that we have around. 
Well, I think that having your things in the internet can be both negative and positive. In a way if you look at it these ideas of having your things connect to the internet, this can make things less personal. In addition to this as I understood of the article having other people know what your wearing and where you got it from can make the things more computerize in a way. Furthermore it can be can an interference with actually connection between people in person.   
On the other hand it can be easier to find your stuff if you are running late and need to get something quick or if lost something. And at the same time if you like the idea of sharing were you bought your stuff then it might be to your eyes something positive. Another thing is that other may view as a way to be able to communicate without having to do it in person. Maybe people may view as a way to be able to talk without feeling nervous or shy as they might say they feel when they are in from of people that you do not know.
